Project Overview and Proposals

As part of the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD), Ulster University will deliver a new Centre for Digital Health Technology (CDHT) consisting of research and development facilities comprising laboratories, offices and communal meeting spaces.

Where is the Proposed Site?

The site is located in Belfast City Centre at 3-5 Frederick Street, Belfast BT1 2LW. To the west of the site is a multi-storey car park recently constructed to serve Ulster University and to the east is a recently completed PBMSA development known as The Edge.

Who is Bringing Forward the Proposals?

The application is being brought forward and delivered by Ulster University as part of the Belfast Region City Deal.
